Connect Church was started in 1975 as Cliff Terrace Assembly of God. The people started in a hotel on Rogers Ave here in Fort Smith. The congregation grew and was able to purchase land where the current building sits. We moved into our current building in 1983. Through the years, God has used the people of Connect Church to plant churches, send missionaries, and see countless lives come to know Jesus Christ.

In September 2024, we wanted a refresh for our church and with that came a new name. Connect Church was formed. When you think of a dot to dot puzzle, you see many dots that are lifeless and without form. The image does not come together until all the dots are connected. At Connect Church we believe that all the dots represent people. When people come together it creates a picture of unity. This is what the church is, a complete picture of unity. We invite each of you to become a part of God's plan, where each of us are Connected together to do the ministry that God has called each of us to do.
